History was made at the SA20 Season 4 auction when Dewald Brevis signed with Pretoria Capitals for a record R16.5 million, the highest price ever paid for a player in the league.
Capitals entered the auction with a purse of R32.5 million and spent more than half of it on Brevis alone. The move underlined his rising value and showed how much trust teams have in his potential.
