PCB Confirms Dates for South Africa’s Upcoming Tour of Pakistan

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the schedule for South Africa’s upcoming tour of Pakistan. The series will include Test matches, T20Is, and ODIs, with games in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad.

Test Matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi

The tour starts with two Test matches:

  • 1st Test: October 12–16 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

  • 2nd Test: October 20–24 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

These games will also begin Pakistan’s new journey in the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27.

T20 Series in Two Cities

After the Tests, the teams will play three T20 matches:

  • 1st T20I: October 28 in Rawalpindi

  • 2nd T20I: October 31 in Lahore

  • 3rd T20I: November 1 in Lahore

ODIs Return to Faisalabad

The tour will finish with three ODIs at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, from November 4–8.

This will be the first ODI at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, in 17 years β€” a long-awaited return that makes the occasion even more special for the city.

Why This Series Matters

The tour carries special significance. Gaddafi Stadium returns as a Test venue after its recent upgrade, while Pakistan begins a fresh journey in the new ICC Test Championship cycle. And in Faisalabad, fans will finally see ODI cricket again after 17 long years β€” a true homecoming for the city.

Final Word

This tour has something for everyone β€” long Tests, fast T20, and exciting ODIs. With matches spread across three cities, it will be an important and memorable series for Pakistan cricket.
